Studio Rates and Policies
Studio Calendar
- I teach weekly lessons from September (starting the week after Labour Day) through to the end of June (43 weeks).
- There will be no lessons during Christmas break (2 weeks) and March break (1 week).
- The last two weeks of June are make-up weeks for students to make up outstanding missed lessons.
Rates
- The cost of weekly lessons is spread equally throughout the whole year and charged at the beginning of each month as a convenient and consistent monthly fee.
- Monthly tuition includes 38 weeks of lessons plus 2 make-up weeks (see below) during the calendar year.
- Families should budget an additional $30-50/year for music books and curriculum, which are not covered by monthly tuition.

Missed Lessons Policy
- Missed lessons will not be refunded. With sufficient notice, they can be rescheduled according to teacher and student availability.
- Except in the case of illness, I require 48 hours notice to reschedule a missed lesson. Last-minute cancellations (less than 48 hours notice) or no-shows will not receive a make-up lesson.
- Make up lessons can be scheduled either within the month at an alternate time, or at the students regular lesson time during one of the make-up weeks at the end of the studio year.
